The question was posed at the last open play for ideas on how to increase participation at open plays. So naturally its been on my mind since. Now for one winter and the economy can be blamed for some of it. And of course I have my own personal issues with open play but the only solution to that will only serve to increase the problem so I won't delve into that. But I do have a couple suggestions. Will they help? Are they feasible? Maybe not but I think its worth putting them out there.
First, I would like to see the see to HQs repaired. They are both in very sad shape. New tarps and possibly the addition of roofs to them at the very least.
Second, while I know that many of the structures in Tango have been replaced, bringing back the second floors would be great. Again, roofs. Over the single story structures they would prevent the ease with which player-customers would be killed by grenades. And if second floors came back it they would extend the life of the structure below. Simple tarps stretched over a frame would do the trick I think.
And while I'm on the subject of Tango, I for one would LOVE to see it be laid out more like a town than the way it is now. Off set streets and intersections and structures of different sizes, etc.
