Official description and rule set
The event will be a 6-hour continuous, force-on-force, objective oriented military simulation. Two opposing forces (Alpha and Bravo Companies) will enter the AO at their designated start points/times and remain in the AO until the end of the exercise.
The environment is wooded forest with thick under-brush, a road, several trails, a dry stream bed and a flowing stream. There are no open fields, desert or urban areas.
Each company will occupy a pre-designated combat outpost located within the AO. Players will use their COP as the location to reload and cross-load ammunition, hydrate, rest, etc. Players should take everything they will need for the afternoon with them to their COP.
Players are killed by either a single hit to the head or three hits anywhere else on their body. Every bb hit is counted. Weapon hits are not counted. Replica or real ballistic helmets allow a player to ignore one hit to the helmet. Replica or real plate carriers that are weighted to 16 pounds without attached gear allow the wearer to ignore all hits to the front and back of the vest. Concussion Grenades have a kill radius of ten feet. Knife and hand-to-hand kills count. BB hits caused by fragmentation grenades, 40mm shower shells and claymores are treated as if the bb was fired from an AEG. Fratricide counts.
Each company will have a pre-designated regen (respawn) point. Eliminated players will return to their regen point and remain there for five minutes before rejoining their unit. DO NOT camp on you opponents regen point. You have a mission - complete it. This event is not about body count. And besides, camping on regen is just unsportsmanlike.
Only "cold" smoke grenades can be used. No home-made grenades. If you have to pull out a lighter to arm your grenade you need to leave it at home. Only pull-string/pull-ring smokes and commercially available frag and concussions may be used.
Boundaries will be marked by Telephone Lane and Ramsey Hollow Road to the West and North, and all other areas within the pink tape.
Eye protection must be worn at ALL times.
There is NO COST.
All participants play at THEIR OWN RISK.
Anyone interested should PM me or call or text to 570-295-5966. Post questions here. Thanks.
